The Missing Women Task Force has updated its missing women poster, which now contains the photos and names of 59 women.

VANCOUVER - The Missing Women Task Force has updated its missing women poster, which now contains the photos and names of 59 women.

The new poster no longer contains the names of the six victims of serial killer Robert (Willie) Pickton, who was convicted by a jury last Dec. 9 of six counts of second-degree murder.

Although he is appealing his murder convictions, Pickton still is facing a second trial for the first-degree murder of another 20 women, whose names remain on the list.

Vancouver RCMP Const. Annie Linteau said today that it is the first time the poster was updated since February 2007.

Police still are actively investigating the missing women listed on the poster, she said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the task force at 1-877-687-3377.
